Selective medium for the isolation of lactic acid bacteria in beer and beer fermentation

Packaging

Suspend 77.2 grams of the medium in one liter of distilled water. Add 10 ml of Sorbitan Monooleate. Mix well and dissolve by heating with frequent agitation. Boil for one minute until complete dissolution. Sterilize in autoclave at 121ºC for 15 minutes. DO NOT OVEARTHEAT. Cool to 45-50ºC and aseptically add 3 gramsof Phenylethanol. Mix well and dispense into plates.
