READY TO USE PRONACULTURE 3 ± 0,5 ml (20 units)
It is a selective medium recommended for yeast and dermatophyte isolations from contaminated samples. The presence of chloramphenicol allows a good inhibition of a great part of bacterial contaminants.
MICROBIOLOGICAL CONTROL
The following results were obtained from type cultures, after incubation at a temperature of 30ºC ± 2ºC and observed after 40-72 hours.
Candida albicans ATCC 2091 ............... Good growth
Candida tropicalis ATCC 750 ............... Good growth
Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 ............... Good growth
Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 ..... Good growth
