Selective medium for the isolation of Salmonella in food

Packaging
Suspend 54 grams of the medium in one liter of distilled water. Mix well and dissolve by heating with frequent agitation. DO NOT BOIL. Stop heating once the medium has completely dissolved. DO NOT AUTOCLAVE. Cool to 50°C and pour into Petri dishes as soon as it has cooled. The medium should have an orangey red color and should be clear.
