Medium used for the detection and enumeration of fecal Coliform microorganisms by means of the membrane-filtration technique. In this medium, which is supplemented with rosilic acid, the fecal Coliform colonies are blue whilst the rest are gray. Incubate at a temperature of 35 ± 2°C and 44.5 ± 0.5°C during 24 hours (at this temperature only E.coli grows, the rest of bacteria are inhibited).
