Selective and differential medium for Escherichia coli 0157:H7

Packaging
Suspend 51.5 grams of the medium in one liter of distilled water. Mix well and dissolve by heating with frequent agitation. Boil for one minute until complete dissolution. Sterilize in autoclave at 121ºC for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50ºC, and, if desired, aseptically add two vials of Cefixime Tellurite Supplement (Cat. 6064), previously reconstituted in 5 ml of sterile distilled water. Mix well and dispense into plates.
