Tryptone Soy Agar and TBA are media used for quick testing according to the ISO 9308-1:2000 standard. The membrane is placed over the Tryptone Soy Agar and incubated at a temperature of 36°C during 4 - 5 hours. After this, the membrane is placed over the TBA medium and incubated at a temperature of 44 ± 0,5°C during 19 - 20 hours. The colonies are confirmed by performing the indole test.
