This medium serves to determine the quality of cleaning or disinfection of surfaces and utensils, therefore the sample taken has to be carried out after cleaning/disinfection. The composition and pH value of the medium helps to neutralise the residuals which might have been left after cleaning or disinfection. This neutralisation allows the growth of each type of micro-organism which might have been left.
MICROBIOLOGICAL CONTROL
The following results were obtained from type cultures after incubation at a temperature of 35 ± 2ºC and observed after 18-24 hours.
