for the determination and count of Clostridium perfringes in water by means of the membrane-filtration technique. Filtrate over membrane and anaerobically incubate the membrane over m-CP agar at a temperature of 44 ± 1°C for 21 ± 3 hours. Count the opaque yellow colonies which turn pink after exposure to ammonium hydroxide vapors during 20 - 30 seconds.
